Representing England at the Malta International Open
I’m beyond excited to share some incredible news: I’ve been selected to represent England at this year’s Malta International Open! I’ll be competing in the women’s 76kg class from March 21st-23rd in Sliema, Malta, and I couldn’t be more thrilled for the opportunity to step onto the international stage.
This journey has been one of dedication, patience, and trust in the process. If you have followed me for a while, you will know I sustained a wrist injury in 2023 - which impacted much of my 2024 performances. Strength sports are about so much more than just lifting weights - it’s about showing up for yourself, embracing the challenges, and learning to appreciate the small wins along the way. There have been days where training felt amazing and days where I questioned everything (its a rollercoaster!).
More than anything, I hope my journey serves as a reminder that progress isn’t linear, and success doesn’t happen overnight. It’s built through consistency, resilience, and a willingness to keep going - even when it’s tough - something I’ve highlighted in my 75 Hard blog.
I’ll be sharing bits of my prep over the next few weeks as I build towards the competition so make sure to follow along on Instagram and TikTok.
Thank you to everyone who has supported me along the way!
Malta, here we come! 🇲🇹💪
